Fiddles on Fire – Mark Williams (MS, WMHS, and MP strings combined)
Instrumentation –
Strings

Rosin up the bow, call the fire department, and let’s go! This thrilling work is a modal display of virtuosity and takes full advantage of the open 5th “fiddle sound.” You’ll have parents “do-si-do-ing” in the aisles, and students clamoring to play this one again and again! Without a doubt, this is a superb piece for beginning players!

Mark Williams was one of the premier composers for school bands and orchestras. Co-author of the Accent on Achievement Band Method, he had over 200 published works to his credit.
